My name is Pierre Lessard and although I am a little prejudiced being Peggy's boyfriend, I have to say that her creations are awesome! Peggy has a bio on her site, so I won't take up too much of your time, but I can tell you that Peggy has been making these beautiful dolls for a decade and has rarely shared them with anyone other than family. Peggy and I met three years ago (both from broken marriages and each with children), and when I first saw that she could put three days' work into tedious beading and sewing to create one doll, I wondered if she was a little unsettled. She explained to me that this was her sanity and a wonderful way for her to relax. I thought about it and decided if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! It's taken some time but I have convinced Peggy that her dolls should be shared with others, so we have put our skills together, her doll making and my computer and digital photo experience to bring about our website:

My mission now is to spread the word about her work. I am sure your readers would love to see what happens when you mix the skills of a hairstylist, fashion designer and artist into doll art. As for Peggy's work and my impressions, let me share a few details that I was taken aback by when it comes to her natural talent. When we first met, money was very tight and Peggy has some young boys that needed school clothing, so we went to the local mall and looked around. I wondered if she had inherited some money because she was looking at all the best designer clothes. She didn't actually buy anything while we were there. I drove her home, went to work and when I came back there were the clothes we had been looking at (or so I thought)! I asked where she got the money and she just laughed. She had made them and believe me I looked for tags. I have never met anyone with such an eye for creation, that she can hold something for a moment and re-create. Nowadays it's a pretty regular occurrence for me to be out in public and have someone ask me where I got the great outfit or who did my hair. The answer is, "my baby did that!" She's a truly talented lady.
