Regina says, "I'm from Washington D.C., and lived in Sarasota, Florida since 1961 with my husband Richard of 42 years. So far I've created 1 Wood nymph, and 9 of what I
suppose what you would call glamour girls (women, ladies what have you). I would say I like to try everything just haven't gotten around to it yet. I like the Mackie face best, just don't like the big grinning smile nor the karate chop arms. My favorite colors are purple and black, but on a doll I would use whatever color comes to mind for the outfit that I think would look the best. Debbie Martin got me started customizing by getting me on this list a year and a half ago. I checked out
everybody's web sites and watched and listened and finally in February 2000, I made my first doll for a swap with Dorothy Fannin, then Rebecca and Phyliss."
"Other than that I have all the other dolls I've made. I have not attempted to sell one yet, I suppose that's next on the list as I sure couldn't keep them all. I think the best aspect of customizing is to be able to sit back and look at the beautiful art work you created, knowing there isn't another one anywhere around the world just like it. I use to be an avid Barbie
Collector with approximately 700 or so barbies, I would try to purchase all of the ones in any given series. Not so much anymore since I got into buying customized dolls. I also collect good jewelry (diamonds, sapphires & gold) and designer perfumes with the help of my precious husband who doesn't know
what else to buy me, but at times can be a royal pain in the arse."
