Hi, thanks for visiting my gallery. My name is Roxanne Maxwell Holloway and I live in Humble, Texas. My favorite dolls to create are imaginative costumed and fantasy dolls, but I also enjoy doing beaded formals and retro day wear and suits. The dolls I like to work with are Gene Marshall and Candi Dolls, just about any Barbie, and Barbie's Family And Friends. I enjoy working with all colors and experimenting with combinations. Originally I made one of a kind dolls of cloth, paper mache', or oven baked clays. I later made dolls in porcelain: antique reproductions, modern dolls and my own originals. I really got introduced to customizing vinyl dolls via the internet community of doll customizers and collectors. For me the best aspect of customizing is creating a character, and the satisfaction and joy when that little dollperson finds or is found by their special friend. My other joys in life are my weekends with my grown-up kids, painting, reading, gardening, and my doggies.
